I have arrived! After spending around 9 hours in airports- I was greeted in México City by my first host family: Familia Riveria. They are Lily, Antonio, Fernanda (16) and Emiliano (13). Fernanda will be leaving shortly to France, and I’m so happy that I have some time to get to know her before she leaves. Emiliano is currently visiting family in Los Ángeles (how lucky!) and I will meet him soon.
That first night we drove home, and I settled into my new bedroom and my new life.
